Artist Statement

Personal Introduction
I have worked in marketing and visual arts throughout my life. I've been painting since I was 19 and have also explored digital art and videography. Videography has played a crucial role in my marketing career since 1999.

My Exhibitions
From 2005 to 2019 I had the honor of presenting five exhibitions in Florida, including two in private stables, and two others in Palm Beach in collaboration with charities at Nick and Johnny and Meat Market. Finally, I exhibited with Princess Nuccia in Ft-Lauderdale, in partnership with an educational program for Italian students.

Professional Experience
I led the marketing campaign for BTIA and Vegan Wagon through videography. By collaborating more closely with Vegan Wagon, I gained the freedom to fully dedicate myself to painting while being able to work from anywhere, enabling me to become a nomadic artist. I have also developed digital artworks for printing and started working with resin to create jewelry from the relics of my originals, which I call "portals." Over the past two years, as an artistic director at Vegan Wagon, I have produced videos for social media while continuing to paint remotely.

My Artistic Vision
In the past four years, I've traveled extensively to focus on painting, always in search of that white light. I set up my art and production studios in various locations: Montoya, Uruguay; Leymen and Mercues, France; Bale, Switzerland; Montreal, Canada; Miami, Palm Beach, and New York, USA. I enjoy amplifying brightness using metallic or iridescent materials that reflect light, employing spatulas and giant tools that I designed myself. I have original works in each of these countries, including very large paintings up to 5m x 3m. Currently, I am focusing on miniatures to create jewelry, relics of my larger works, as I await the ideal space to showcase them, hoping it's in Brussels. I have several large originals on walls in France and Switzerland.

My Motivation for Brussels
The people I met, the dynamic art community, and the gallery owners inspire me deeply. The warm welcome I received as an artist and native Quebecer makes me see a real opportunity for artistic development in Brussels. The inspiration this place brings is unparalleled, and I feel that I can achieve all my creative ambitions here. It is here in Belgium that I discovered extraordinary artists who guided me, particularly in the use of resin. After four years of solitary travel, I aspire to settle and grow surrounded by other artists. With the advice of two gallery owners and artists, I am applying today as an international artist, with the help of a lawyer, because everything moved very quickly, and it seemed like the right path to follow.
